why didn’t he even slap her?

doesn’t he know how to put people in their place?

why would he just allow people to walk over him like a rag?

doesn’t he know he’ll make me look stupid too?

The truth is, that’s just my flesh reacting.

the world has conditioned us to react to every action so we’re not taken for granted. And as believers, that should not be our first response to everything that happens to us.

If you’re wondering who this filthy woman is, you’ll find her in Luke 7:36-50.

can any of us even blame the Pharisee who invited Jesus over to eat only for this sinful woman to show up and interrupt their meeting?

She showed up with oil to anoint my Father’s feet. It’s the NERVE, for me!

but guess what? My Father saw beyond a woman with blood, maggot, and feces in her hands and saw a heart burning with the type of love (❤️‍🔥) he has for us.

He appreciated her and challenged us and the pharisee to learn from this ungodly woman because she clearly knows what the Father’s love means.

I might never get anointed by a filthy woman but different filthy situations will happen to me. The question is: Am I going to choose to respond like myself or like my Father?

“this is blasphemy”

“let me see what he’s talking about”

so, a friend of mine asked Jesus how he could serve him and he led him to start a tiktok page of short clips from his pastor. I felt challenged after he told me about how he’s publicizing Jesus.

so, I went to ask Jesus how I could serve him too and he told me “I already told you how a long time ago”. I knew exactly what he meant but I felt ashamed and confused about how to go about it. Ashamed because I’ve never written any gospel content and I didn’t know how friends will begin to see this new me and confused because i didn’t know how to start or what name to call this (I met an angel that gave me the name. I’ll tell you about this in a future post).

what was this thing Jesus told me a long time ago? Well, he wanted me to brand/serve him through writing/words. He told me he had been preparing me for this moment by giving me the understanding to master copywriting and writing in general. And now, i will be using this knowledge by His Grace to make the ‘uninterested’ interested in him and the ‘interested’ even more interested.

so, here we are kicking off this amazing mission to showcase Jesus To The World (JTTW) using words.
